About Us

The bar sits dead center in the room. That's not an accident. At The Peppermint Club, the layout is the experience: a circular bar anchoring the space so no one feels like they're watching from the sidelines. You're always in it, always connected to the energy pulsing off the stage. Reviewers keep coming back to that detail, and once you've stood there with a drink in hand while a live band fills the room, you'll understand why.

The venue seats somewhere between intimate jazz lounge and proper night out, which is a rare combination on the Beverly Blvd strip. Acts like the LA Diamond Trio have turned casual walk-ins into devoted regulars. The sound travels right. The sightlines are clean. It's a small performance space by design, not by default, and that distinction matters enormously when you're trying to actually hear and feel live music rather than just be near it.

Friday and Saturday nights, 8 PM to 2 AM. Two nights a week, done with full intention. This isn't a venue trying to be everything to everyone across a seven-day calendar. It's a place that shows up twice a week and makes it count.

What We Offer

The Peppermint Club runs as a live music venue, cocktail bar, and dance hall rolled into one compact, well-designed room. The bar program delivers the kind of drinks that match the mood: bold, well-made, and served without the 20-minute wait you'd expect at a bigger spot. Cocktails lean toward the classic end with enough creativity to keep things interesting through a full evening.

Live entertainment anchors every night the doors are open. Local and touring acts take the stage, covering soul, R&B, jazz, and funk, the kind of music that actually makes people move. The dance floor fills naturally because the room is built for it. Tables and limited seating are available for those who want to settle in, but arrive early if you want a chair. The venue also hosts private events and special bookings, making it a sharp choice for date nights, birthday celebrations, or any occasion that deserves a real soundtrack.

"I was pleasantly surprised by this venue. I came here to watch a particular performer, and I believe the LA Diamond Trio was the live band I heard, and they were amazing. Seats are scarce though, so careful if you don't like standing for long periods. That said, the bar is a huge section in the center of the venue, so it's easily accessibly by anyone trying to get a drink."

"Went here for the Rural Alberta Advantage show last night. First time at the Peppermint Club and, honestly, probably my last. Right away, I noticed the venue was smaller than I expected. The stage is right by the door, so getting in meant walking through the crowd just to reach the back. The bar also takes up way too much real estate, which leaves very little room for people to stand comfortably and actually enjoy the show. What really made the experience worse was the people around me who were talking loudly non stop throughout the set, which was distracting. Thankfully I had earplugs to help drown out the conversations. On top of that, I kept getting bumped into, including one guy who was waving his hands around and repeatedly running into me. Not a fan of this venue for live music. I’ll stick to other spots going forward."

"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Vibe, a Mood, a Whole Experience; The Peppermint Club is THAT Girl So listen… I had never heard of The Peppermint Club in my life. Not a whisper. Not a peep. The only reason I ended up there was because Shaé Universe (yes, with the accent over the "e" because she classy like that) was performing, and I wasn’t about to miss it. What I didn’t expect was to fall in love with the venue too. Pulled up, handed my car off to valet like the semi-celebrity I pretend to be, and breezed through the door with my Ticketmaster confirmation and a prayer. They had a metal detector at the front, which honestly made me feel safe and just a little bit like I was entering a concert version of TSA minus the pat-down trauma. Once I got inside? Baby. That place is sexy. It’s giving “midnight jazz with a side of soul and a sprinkle of private event energy.” The lighting was moody and atmospheric in the best way. The band? On fire. Like, if they’re not permanent residents of that stage, someone needs to sign them immediately. The sound was rich, the vocals were stunning, and the vibe was pure magic. There was space to breathe, a gorgeous bar that looked like it poured both cocktails and secrets, and plush seating that made me question if I should’ve worn better pants. It was intimate but not cramped, elevated but not pretentious. Very much "cool without trying too hard." All in all, The Peppermint Club understood the assignment. If you hear about an event there and you're on the fence, hop off that fence and get in the car. Trust me."
